About Lexin:

Lexin is an Australian-founded, AI-powered SaaS company. Our platform, MiLi, helps asset-intensive organisations across mining, oil and gas, utilities, chemicals, and heavy manufacturing manage their MRO spare parts, freeing up working capital and reducing operational risk.

We’re a fast-growing, fully remote global team across Australia, United States, Philippines, and South Africa, guided by our values of being committed, high-performing, trusted and enterprising.

Joining Lexin means solving real world operational problems for leading industrial organisations, working at the forefront of AI, and growing your career as we scale.

Role Summary:

The AI-Native Full Stack Engineer builds and ships features across Lexin’s TypeScript stack: React, Node and Postgres, running on AWS. Our software is used every day by industrial and MRO teams and connects into their SAP workflows, so accuracy and data integrity matter.

This role is AI-native. You will use agentic coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex as your default way of working, while staying accountable for every line that ships. You understand what your code runs on, so you can steer agents well rather than simply accept what they produce. This is a hands-on role with real ownership from day one.

Key Responsibilities / Full stack delivery:

– Build features end to end across React, Node and Postgres, running on AWS.

– Break down vague problems into well-scoped tasks for yourself, your teammates and AI agents.

– Deliver integrations into customer systems, including SAP, where data integrity is critical.

– Take features from idea to production with real ownership.

AI-native engineering:

– Use agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Codex and similar) to plan, build, test and review.

– Maintain project context for agents (CLAUDE.md and AGENTS.md), skills, subagents, hooks and MCP integrations.

– Share the prompts, workflows and patterns that work across the team, and drop those that don’t.

Quality & security:

– Review agent-generated code thoroughly, catching bugs, security issues and over-engineering before production.

– Maintain tests, type safety and clear pull requests to support a safe weekly release cadence.

– Follow Lexin’s AI Policy and security (SOC 2) policies when using AI tools with company and customer data.

Skills, qualifications & Experience:

– A track record of things you’ve built (at work, in open source or as side projects) and the ability to explain your decisions.

– Daily use of agentic coding tools, with a clear approach to structuring sessions, context and planning.

– Strong TypeScript, React and Node skills, and working knowledge of Postgres data modelling and query performance.

– AWS fundamentals, including compute, networking, IAM, storage and managed services, and the cost, latency and failure trade-offs that shape design.

– Sound judgement on when an agent is wrong: you test what it produces and own the result.

– Structured problem solving: you ask good questions, reduce ambiguity and choose the simplest solution that works.

– Comfortable working autonomously in a small, fully remote, internationally distributed team.

Desirable:

– Experience building with LLM APIs or agent frameworks, such as the Claude API, Agent SDK or MCP servers.

– Experience running several agents in parallel, such as worktrees, background agents or CI-triggered agents.

– Familiarity with Terraform or CI/CD pipelines.

– Exposure to SAP, ERP or enterprise data integrations.

– A background in SaaS serving enterprise or industrial customers.
