Gold at the Stevie Awards: What It Took to Build a Team the Judges Couldn't Ignore

Gold at the Stevie Awards: What It Took to Build a Team the Judges Couldn't Ignore

What happens when your ERP inventory count tells you a different story to what’s sitting on your warehouse shelf?

For heavy industry, this gap is where downtime, safety risk and wasted capital begin. We built our platform, MiLi, to close this gap, and this month two of our proudest achievements were recognised with Gold at the Stevie Awards for Technology Excellence.

One of the most stubborn problems in the indirect material supply chain centres around Lead Times. Most ERP systems ship with a default lead time, buried quietly in every reorder calculation. Nobody checks it. Nobody updates it. And over time, this single assumption becomes the reason parts don't turn up when they're needed, placing strain on working capital and vendor relationships.

We rebuilt this from the ground up. Our platform calculates lead times using real supplier performance data instead of a static number nobody remembers setting. Exception management flags the parts and vendors that need attention before they become a crisis on the warehouse floor, giving maintenance and procurement teams a shared, accurate picture instead of two conflicting messages.

None of this works without the right people behind it. We built our team around professionals who've stood in a warehouse at 2am chasing a missing part. Our specialist-led development model shapes every feature on our roadmap around real maintenance and indirect material supply chain problems our team have actually lived through.

Two Wins, One Team Effort

We're proud to share that our team has taken Gold in Technology Team of the Year, Software Development at the Stevie Awards for Technology Excellence, recognising the people behind our platform.

Alongside this award, our CEO, Sladen Moses, also took Gold in Executive of the Year, a result that reflects the same philosophy that's shaped Lexin since day one: ensuring our customers realise measurable benefits in every engagement with Lexin.  Sladen's path started on a technical help desk serving customers, not in a corner office, and that grounding still shapes how our entire leadership team makes decisions today.

Both results sit on the same foundation. Zero client churn; organic growth built without shortcuts; and a product roadmap driven by people who've lived the problem. Landing both of these awards, one for the team and one for our CEO, tells us the same values show up at every level of the Lexin business.

We want to thank every person who made this possible: our development team, our sales and customer success leaders, our partners, and every client who trusted us with their indirect material supply chains before these results were even proven.

If your maintenance and supply chain teams still can't agree on what's actually sitting in the warehouse, we can help.
